At Wednesday, 29th of November, the Munich Salesforce Developer Group and Munich Salesforce User Group will merge once again for the "Dreamforce Global Gathering" at AutoScout24.

Agenda

At the Global Gathering, you will get exclusive access to the latest content and hands-on learning from Salesforce Dreamforce. The Munich Salesforce groups will join 200+ other community groups around the world to host this special meetup with takeaways from Dreamforce for every skill-level and all backgrounds.

The agenda in brief:
  • Dreamforce highlights & demos
  • Hands-on content
  • Recorded sessions
  • Swag & prizes
As a regular attendee of the Munich Salesforce Developer Meetup (but no developer myself), I can highly recommend to join the evening. But why?

Some good reasons to join

First of all, the merge of Munich Salesforce Groups will once again bring together different kinds and levels of Salesforce expertise: from admins and business users over managers to developers and architects. In talks you can choose the "flight altitude" you prefer.

As a Salesforce customer you sometimes don't have a sparring partner or the specialist you need. At the Salesforce meetup you will always find someone to answer your specific question! And you will be able to make valuable new contacts that might ease your future as Salesforce customer.

If you are asking yourself whether you should join the Salesforce environment (e.g. at a Salesforce customer or partner), the Munich meetups are a great entry point. There you can find all roles and levels of responsibility, and even more important - you will receive unadorned impressions and feedback.

By getting exclusive insights from Trailblazers, you might be able to prioritize your next steps within the Salesforce environment better - and thus avoid effort unnecessary effort and costs. It's always nice to learn from others who were not able to avoid common pitfalls :).

If you are planning to visit Dreamforce next year: by talking to Dreamforce '2017 attendees you might get a better feeling, whether it's worth visiting world's biggest tech trade fair or not.

Last but not least: Fast food and beer, swag, fun and - most important - a bunch of nice people (avoiding domestic responsibilities) :)

DevOps from the trenches - which deployment strategy is the right one for your org?

by Christian Szandor Knapp
What unites Admins and developers alike? Deployments (and their failures)! Many of us need to move ‘stuff’ from one Org to another. From Sandbox to Production, from Dev Org to Dev Org or Sandbox. Which tool is the right one for me? Changesets, ANT, Salesforce DX, or packaging2? Let’s have a closer look at the current possibilities of moving metadata (and data) from Org to Org. And let’s demo those, too! A quick hint (safe harbour) about the future promised at Dreamforce: Admins will play an essential role.

Deep dive into Salesforce Einstein

by Michael Denzler
The amount of collected data increases every day. Mobile devices and IoT are some of the pillars of Big Data. All of this data can be used to increase sales or improve users marketing experience. To deal with the relations and heavy amount of data something is required. This is Artificial intelligence! Let’s have a look together at the great Einstein Features like Einstein Prediction Builder, Einstein Lead Scoring, Einstein Opportunity Insights, Einstein Account Insights, Einstein Activity Capture or Einstein Automated Contacts.
